Andy Thomson
Login to view DISC.Andy Thomson is the Head of Design Engineering at Charterhouse School, a role he started in late 2023 after an 18-year tenure at Highgate School. He is focused on evolving the curriculum to prepare students for the modern world, drawing on his background in Sports Engineering and skills in robotics and CAD.
His passion lies in applying engineering to solve real-world problems, particularly those related to sustainability and the environment. As a Contingent Commander for the Combined Cadet Force, he is also involved in youth leadership development outside the classroom.
Andy leads projects where students transform waste plastic into new products like sunglasses.
