Dr. Antonia Chen is the Chair and Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at UT Southwestern, specializing in hip and knee replacement. An award-winning surgeon with an MBA, she previously held leadership roles at Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Womens Hospital. Her extensive research focuses on periprosthetic joint infections, opioid reduction, and arthroplasty outcomes.
Outside of her demanding career, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, hiking, and traveling. Dr. Chen is also the host of an orthopaedics podcast for the Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, where she makes complex research topics more relatable by incorporating pop culture.
