Beck Taylor

An economist with degrees from Baylor and Purdue, he is described by colleagues as a "visionary, " "dynamic, " and "energetic" leader who previously served as dean for Samfords Brock School of Business.
Outside of his presidential duties, he is a dedicated family man, married to Julie with three children: Zach, Lauren, and Chloe. He is an avid sports fan, frequently expressing support for his alma maters Baylor Bears and his current universitys Samford Bulldogs. He is also actively involved in his community.
He returned to Samford University as its president after previously serving for five years as the dean of its business school.
