Ben Bell

Ben Bell is the Rector of St George the Martyr in Southwark, a role he assumed in September 2023 after serving as Vicar of St Annes in Hoxton. His work is deeply rooted in community service, and he holds several trustee positions for local charities and serves as a primary school governor.

Outside of his clerical duties, Ben is actively involved in advocating for his parishioners with local councils on issues like housing. He has a creative streak, having organized public art projects, and enjoys cooking, once writing with humor about preparing a Nigella Lawson recipe for a parish Christmas party.

Before his ordination into the priesthood, Ben founded and ran a youth and community organization in Islington and Hackney.
