Ben Dooley

Ben Dooley is the Chief Financial Officer at Accel, where he leads the finance team and oversees the firms London-based venture funds. An alumnus of Kings College, London, his expertise is rooted in his background as an accountant and his extensive prior experience in private equity, including his time as Partner & CFO at DH Private Equity Partners.

Outside of work, Ben appreciates the camaraderie of his first job selling souvenirs at Wembley Stadium and holds great respect for his bi/trilingual colleagues and wife, wishing he could master languages himself. In a professional context, he considers Excel indispensable, taking pleasure in building complex financial models.

He is an accountant by trade and still enjoys building an "all-singing, all-dancing Excel model. "
