CAL HERD

Cal Herd is the President of Fairway Electrical Services, a family-owned and operated electrical contracting company based in the Hamilton, Ontario area since 1991. He is deeply committed to developing future talent in the trades through apprenticeships and co-op placements for local students.

Outside of his primary business, Cal is deeply invested in supporting his community through education. He actively provides mentorship opportunities for young people looking to enter the skilled trades and supports local institutions like Mohawk College, where a scholarship has been established in his honor.

His company received the Employer Champion Award for its exceptional dedication to providing hands-on learning and mentorship for high school students.
