Dr. Caroline Turner is an experienced public service leader, currently an Independent Member at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Her career includes roles as Chief Executive of Powys County Council and 16 years with the Welsh Government. She holds a PhD from Aberystwyth University and has a track record of delivering service improvements.
Caroline is a fluent Welsh speaker with a lifelong passion for European integration, serving as a Director for Wales for Europe and interim Chair for Cardiff in Europe. She is also a governor at a Welsh-medium primary school and enjoys running and travelling in her personal time.
Her PhD from Aberystwyth University focused on Multi-level Governance and European Integration, a topic she also taught as a university tutor.
