Chengxi Shan serves as a Vice President and Technology Project Manager at Citi, leveraging a strong background in quantitative finance. A Cornell University MFE graduate, his experience includes algorithmic and high-frequency trading at firms like Cantor Fitzgerald. He also holds a CFA Level I certification.
During his time at Cornell, Chengxi and a fellow student won first place in the 2021 TSL-Datathon competition, where their project focused on creating an optimal strategy for bike-sharing systems using demand and supply prediction.
He co-authored a thesis on solving vehicle rebalancing problems in bike-sharing systems using reinforcement learning.
