Chris Morrissey is a seasoned executive with experience in both public and private sectors. As President and CEO of Invest Nova Scotia and Deputy Minister of Growth and Development, he focuses on attracting strategic investments and driving economic prosperity for the province. He holds an EMBA from Saint Marys University.
Outside of his professional roles, Chris lives in Halifax with his wife, Kala, and their three sons. He is known for using intuition and humor to build strong relationships and has a long history of involvement in major community-focused events, including amateur sports.
He served as the CEO for the Halifax 2011 Canada Winter Games, leading and managing the largest event of its kind in history with a $45 million budget.
