Christopher Hartlove is a retired finance executive with extensive experience in Marylands public education sector. As a Certified Public Accountant, he served as Chief Financial Officer for both Baltimore County and Carroll County Public Schools, overseeing all fiscal services. He earned his Bachelors degree and a certificate from the University of Maryland Baltimore County (UMBC).
Even in retirement, Christopher remains committed to his community and the field of education. He actively serves as the Treasurer and a board member for the Carroll Community College Foundation, applying his financial expertise to support higher education initiatives in his local area.
He was the first non-superintendent to ever hold the position of Treasurer for the Public School Superintendents Association of Maryland.
