Daniel Dias is Brazils most decorated Paralympic athlete, having won 27 medals in swimming. After a celebrated career, he now channels his experience into motivational speaking and managing the Instituto Daniel Dias, which he founded to promote inclusion through sport. He holds a degree in Marketing from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie.
Outside of his professional life, Daniel is a devoted family man who draws his greatest inspiration from his wife and three children. He is a person of strong Christian faith, which he integrates into his personal and professional philosophy. He enjoys playing football and American football with his kids.
He has won the Laureus World Sportsperson of the Year with a Disability Award a record three times.
