Daniel Melchor Fernández is an investigative researcher and journalist who provides due diligence for U. S. companies on Mexican corporations, public contracts, and procurement processes. A graduate of Tecnológico de Monterrey with a masters from Universitat Pompeu Fabra, he has over a decade of experience and has collaborated with The New York Times, Netflix, and the ICIJ.
Beyond his corporate research, Daniel is an author and literary critic. In late 2023, he published his first book, "Morir de pena, " a personal narrative investigating the feminicide of his mother, blending his journalistic skills with literary non-fiction to address themes of justice and memory in Mexico.
He was part of the team that won the prestigious Gabo Award in 2018 for the documentary "Soy el número 16. "
