With over 20 years of experience as an ethical hacker and global CISO, he advises nation-states and critical infrastructures under NATO on cyber warfare, espionage, and terrorism. He holds a CISSP certification.
Growing up in a small village in Portugal, David developed a fascination with both nature and technology from an early age. He received a computer when he was young and, unable to play games on it, taught himself programming and the technical aspects of computing instead.
His journey into cybersecurity was inspired by a 2017 nation-state level meeting with the former Head of NATOs Intelligence Committee.
