David Segal

He now serves as President of Highbeam, a business banking platform. A graduate of McGill University, he also co-founded Firebelly Tea and Mad Radish, and co-hosts the "Big Shot" business podcast.
Outside of company-building, David has a deep passion for tea, evolving from a business idea into a personal hobby of collecting rare teas like others collect wine. He champions the idea of balancing ambition with gratitude and recovery, a philosophy he calls "Friday Dave vs Monday David. " He also explores his Jewish heritage by archiving entrepreneurial stories.
As a passion project, he co-hosts the "Big Shot" podcast to archive the stories of legendary Jewish entrepreneurs for future generations.
