David is an infrastructure leader at the Mile High Flood District, where he is the Director of Education and Outreach. With over two decades of experience in urban stream design and project delivery, he advocates for resilient, nature-based infrastructure. He holds a B. S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida and multiple professional certifications.
Outside of his engineering work, David is an author, speaker, and photographer. He explores a variety of topics as the co-host of a podcast called "Middle Aged Wisdom" with his wife, Nancy. His passion for communication is also demonstrated through his active public speaking schedule and Toastmasters certification.
He wrote the book "The Effective Client, " which advises on how to improve business relationships in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries.
