Edward Brial is the CEO and Co-Founder of Materra, a company transforming cotton sourcing for the fashion industry through regenerative agriculture and technology. He oversees strategy and business development, backed by major brands like H&M and Kering. He holds Masters degrees from both the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London.
Ed is deeply passionate about combating the climate crisis and tackling inequity within fashions supply chains. He co-founded Materra after witnessing firsthand how broken the system was for farmers. A social media post also suggests he enjoys unwinding with trips to the mountains.
