Elaine Chan is a Senior Practice Leader and Epidemiologist at the BC Centre for Disease Control, focusing on immunization and vaccine-preventable diseases. With a Master of Public Health from the University of Alberta and a CPH certification, she has extensive experience in public health surveillance, outbreak investigation, and data analysis for STIs and the opioid crisis.
Elaine was part of the Trenton and Cornwall Mass Quarantine Epidemiology Teams that received the Dr. Lucie Dutil Memorial Award in 2020 for their work during the pandemic.
