Eric Schrader

Eric is the Co-Founder and Chief Bonsai Artist at Bonsaify, combining his corporate leadership background with his passion for horticulture. Previously a Director at SPi Global, he led teams of over 85 people and tripled contract values. A Cornell University graduate, colleagues have described him as creative and diligent.

Outside of his business, Eric is a dedicated bonsai grower, photographer, and teacher. He grew up surrounded by nature in Northern California, which sparked his interest in exploring the mountains of the Western U. S. for inspiration. He is a hands-on artist who also hand-carves bonsai pots and builds custom stands.

He co-created and launched the Pacific Bonsai Expo, a major national juried exhibition for the bonsai community.
