He and his wife are outdoor enthusiasts, often found climbing, skiing, or hiking in the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Euan grew up in Scotland, where his fascination with maps of the highlands sparked his interest in the outdoors and, ultimately, his career in geospatial technology.
He taught himself C++ to automate tedious calculations in his first job as a land surveyor, which propelled him into a career in software development.
