Fahim Sultan Al Qasimi

Fahim Al Qasimi is the Executive Chairman of Sharjahs Department of Government Relations and the co-founder of Seafood Souq, a tech company building a sustainable blue economy. Holding a masters from the University of Cambridge, he combines public sector leadership in international relations and digital transformation with private sector innovation in sustainable seafood.

Outside of his official roles, he is a passionate marine conservationist known as the "turtle sheikh" for his work in rescuing sea turtles. An avid freediver, sailor, and surfer since childhood, he has a deep personal connection with the ocean and dedicates his time to its protection, involving his twin sons in his conservation efforts.

Unique fact: In a school play, he invented a character called "FisherCat, " whose mission was to unite fishermen, foreshadowing his future career co-founding a seafood technology company.
