Gina Lazzara
Dr. Gina Lazzara is an Advanced Cardiovascular Imaging Fellow at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, specializing in cardiology and advanced diagnostic techniques. She completed her cardiology fellowship at Houston Methodist and internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt. Dr. Lazzara earned her medical degree from Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Lazzara is an exercise enthusiast and enjoys traveling to see live music. She also has a background as a registered nurse, where she spent five years developing a strong foundation in bedside care and communication before attending medical school.
She has presented her research on cardiovascular topics like pericarditis at educational events.
