Ian Townsend

Ian Townsend is a Chartered Minerals Engineer with extensive global experience managing metallurgical plants and international sales teams across Africa, Australia, and the Americas. A University of Birmingham graduate, he now provides voluntary research and consulting for the Critical Minerals Association. Colleagues describe him as a genius, an expert, and brilliant at simplifying complexity.

Outside of his professional life, Ian is deeply committed to community service, notably through Rotary International, supporting educational initiatives in Zambia.
