Irena Ivanovska

With a Ph. D. from Princeton and deep experience in oncology and drug discovery from roles at Merck and The Mark Foundation, she is an expert in advancing preclinical programs.
Outside of her primary role, she is passionate about mentoring young scientists and budding entrepreneurs, participating in several Massachusetts-based mentoring programs. She moved to the U. S. from Macedonia, a background she feels provides a unique perspective to her scientific curiosity and work.
She actively works to create diverse portfolios of grantees from underrepresented backgrounds and geographic locations.
