Jane Richards is the Continuing Ministerial Development Advisor and Lead Adviser for Training for the Diocese of Chelmsford. Before ordination, she had a long career as a Public Health Specialist for the NHS. Her experience includes serving as a Vicar in Basildon, a hospital chaplain, and as a representative on the General Synod.
Originally from Scotland, Jane is a keen supporter of the Falkirk and Scotland football teams. She has a wide range of hobbies that include reading, crocheting, walking, gardening, cooking, and singing. She has three adult children and a cat, and enjoys a wide variety of music.
Prior to her ministry, Jane worked for many years as a Public Health Specialist for the NHS and Local Authority.
