Outside of Axtria, he demonstrates a passion for preserving cultural heritage through his board membership at the Panjab Digital Library. He is also committed to advancing education, having endowed two academic chairs at his alma mater, IIT Delhi, one of which is named in honor of his mother.
Interesting fact: Jaswinder and his mother, Dr. Tarvinder Kaur Chadha, are the first parent-child graduates of IIT Delhi, where she was the first woman to earn a Ph. D. in Mathematics.
