Outside of his corporate role, Jochen is deeply involved in soccer as an Association Referee Instructor for the Württemberg Football Association. He is passionate about referee development, digitization within the sport, and spearheading violence prevention initiatives that have been piloted by FIFA.
He co-developed a violence prevention project for soccer referees that was piloted by FIFA just one year after its inception.
