John Jovanovic is the Chairman and President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States, with deep expertise in finance, investment, and business building across the energy and critical infrastructure sectors. Born in Chicago to Serbian immigrant parents, John maintains a strong connection to his heritage and is fluent in Serbian. He is married to television personality Daphne Oz, and they are parents to four children. During his MBA, he was a member of the Wharton Basketball and Squash clubs.
He is the first in his family to attend college, fulfilling an American dream that began with his grandfather working in a steel plant after immigrating.
