Jon Miller is the CEO and Co-founder of Halcyon, a company dedicated to combating ransomware. With over 25 years in cybersecurity, he previously founded Boldend, a firm creating offensive cyber tools for the US Government, and held key roles at Cylance (now BlackBerry) and Accuvant (now Optiv), where he worked with most of the Fortune 500.
Jon has been deeply involved in hacking and cybersecurity since junior high and gave his first public talk at the DEF CON hacker conference when he was just 18. He began his professional career as a penetration tester for Internet Security Systems (now IBM) X-Force, conducting some of the first-ever pen tests for major corporations and government agencies.
