Joshua Fourdyce is the Chief of Police for the Village of East Dundee, a role he assumed in late 2023. His career in law enforcement began in 2004, and he previously served for nearly 19 years with the Woodstock Police Department, rising to Detective Sergeant. He holds a Masters degree in Administration of Justice and Security.
He is deeply involved in his community, serving as president of a youth girls basketball club and having coached youth sports since 2006. He is a married father of three and a U. S. Army National Guard veteran, honorably discharged in 2015 after serving as a Sergeant.
Prior to his law enforcement career, Joshua played professional arena football for the Quad City Steamwheelers and Peoria Pilots from 1999 to 2003.
