Julia OMara is the Co-Founder and COO of Pickle, a peer-to-peer fashion rental marketplace. A Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree, she left a product management role at Blackstone to build her company. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Material Science Engineering.
Julia credits her work ethic to her time as a collegiate lacrosse player at the University of Pennsylvania. Her personal values are shaped by a childhood book called "Panda Palace, " which taught her the importance of inclusion and making sure there is always room for one more person.
In the early days of Pickle, she and her co-founder took over 4, 000 subway rides to personally hand-deliver rentals and build their marketplace from the ground up.
