Katharine Murkett

Katharine Murkett is the Global Director of IT Services at Oxford PharmaGenesis, where she leads the companys focus on cybersecurity, data privacy, and GDPR compliance. She has overseen the achievement of Cyber Essentials Plus certification for five consecutive years and holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Exeter.

Outside of her technology role, Katharine is deeply involved in her community through long-term volunteering with the Scouts. For over nine years, she has held leadership positions, including Group Scout Leader, helping young people develop essential life skills. She is also a trustee for her local and regional Scout groups.

She has volunteered as a Scout leader for over 9 years, managing a group that provides adventures for more than 100 young people.
