Ken Yamashiro

Ken Yamashiro is a serial entrepreneur who founded three businesses by age 23: Broker Solar, a leading solar brokerage in South Carolina; Mountain Castle Media, a digital marketing agency; and Palmetto Drone Co. , providing drone services. He is an FAA Licensed drone pilot and studied at Midlands Technical College after initially pursuing aerospace engineering.

His entrepreneurial drive was kickstarted by the birth of his daughter at age 19, which gave him a renewed sense of purpose. He is passionate about connecting with people and has been actively involved with the 9/11 Remembrance Foundation of SC since 2011, managing their digital presence.

Unique fact: Ken obtained his FAA drone pilot license at 19 and successfully launched three distinct companies while attending college and raising his daughter.
