Kurt Ainsworth

Kurt Ainsworth is the Co-Founder and CEO of Marucci Sports. A former first-round MLB draft pick and pitcher for the Giants and Orioles, the Louisiana State University alumnus translated his professional sports experience into building one of baseballs premier equipment brands, growing it from a backyard shed to the official bat of MLB.

Outside of the company, Kurts life is rooted in baseball and family. An Olympic gold medalist with the 2000 USA team, he is passionate about growing the game for future generations. He resides in his hometown of Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife and four children.

Interesting fact: After his professional baseball career was cut short by injury, he co-founded what would become the number one bat in the Big Leagues.
