Laurel Brandt

Laurel Brandt is a reliability and analysis electrical engineer with Power Operations at the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). A graduate of Georgia Institute of Technology, she has contributed to key infrastructure projects, including TVAs first owned battery storage system. She is also an active member of the IEEE Power System Relaying Committee.

Outside of her engineering work, Laurel is a dedicated and outcome-focused traveler. She is described as someone who balances an objective, rational nature with a creative and collaborative approach to her goals and work, finding ingenuity in her profession.

Unique fact: Laurel recently accomplished a major personal goal by visiting her 50th and final U. S. state.
