Leanne Alie

Born and raised in Reading with Bajan and Dominican heritage, Leanne is passionate about telling stories that reflect the Black British experience. Her own podcast, "Coiled, " documents her personal journey with Afro hair and has been featured in The Guardian and Stylist.
Her work on the "Coiled" podcast sparked a national conversation online after a clip challenging the CEO of a major hair retailer went viral.
