Lucila Viappiani is an advanced Biological Sciences and Bioinformatics student at the University of Buenos Aires. Her undergraduate thesis at IQUIBICEN (UBA-CONICET) is in the Laboratory of Inflammation and Cancer, where she researches transcriptional diversity in pediatric leukemias as it relates to treatment response.
Lucila is passionate about advancing research for rare diseases, for which she received a competitive fellowship. She actively presents her findings at scientific meetings and seeks new tools for her work, such as completing an advanced certification in biostatistics with R to enhance her analytical capabilities.
She was selected as a scholarship recipient for her research project on rare diseases, specifically focusing on pediatric leukemia.
