Malcolm Press is the Vice-Chancellor of Manchester Metropolitan University and President of Universities UK. An internationally-renowned ecologist with a PhD from The University of Manchester, he has published extensively on climate change and ecosystems, with research experience spanning Europe, Africa, and Asia. He also serves on the board of the British Council.
His personal interests include the arts, demonstrated by his role as a trustee for the English National Opera.
