Melody (NM)

Melody Lekota is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Telkom, driving people strategy across the group. With an MBA and an MSc in HR, she has extensive experience from prior leadership roles at Cell C and Primedia. She also oversees Telkoms Social Impact and ESG portfolio.

Melody is passionate about enabling employee growth and lifelong learning, believing her most significant development comes from tackling new challenges. She is an avid reader of research articles to gain different perspectives and credits inspirational women for much of her success, hoping to encourage others to achieve their potential.

She has been instrumental in Telkom achieving full gender parity on its eight-member executive team.
