Michael Briggs

Michael Briggs is the President of Nidecs Motion and Energy business unit, where he leads global strategy for industrial, commercial, and e-mobility solutions. He has a strong background in finance, including serving as CFO, and holds an MBA from the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. He actively drives Nidecs international expansion and technological partnerships.

He earned both his Bachelor of Science and his Master of Business Administration from universities in the Orlando, Florida area. Based on his long-standing connection to the region for his higher education, he may follow local professional and collegiate sports.

Unique fact: Michael is leading Nidecs expansion into the aerospace industry through a joint venture with Embraer to create electric propulsion systems for aircraft.
