Michael Cowherd

Michael Cowherd is the Senior Manager of Environmental Performance at Brown-Forman, where he has worked for over 25 years in various quality control and environmental roles. He leads the companys sustainability initiatives and long-term environmental strategy. He holds a BA in Chemistry and an MBA from Bellarmine University.

Michael is an accomplished collegiate athlete, having been a NCAA Division II All-American in track and field. An Eagle Scout and a two-time YMCA Adult Black Achiever, he has also served multiple terms on the Bellarmine University Board of Overseers, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to his community and alma mater.

He was inducted into Bellarmine Universitys Athletic Hall of Fame for his achievements in mens track and field, where he held school records in multiple events.
