Michael Sievers is the Director for Appliance & Construction in North America at BASF, where he manages the urethane business. His career is marked by building sales organizations and developing new markets to increase brand recognition and share. He is a graduate of Gettysburg College with a Bachelor of Arts.
Outside of his corporate role, Michael is deeply committed to safety and environmental policy. He serves on the board for the Federal Alliance for Safe Homes (FLASH), which promotes disaster safety, and for the Alliance for Responsible Atmospheric Policy, which focuses on ozone protection and climate change.
