Michelle Rowland

Michelle Rowland is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Great Southern Bank, managing its finance and IT departments. Her career began on the teller line in 1992, and she has since held nearly every key role in banking, including loan officer, branch manager, and security officer. She holds a B.S. in Accounting and Marketing from the University of West Alabama.

Outside of the bank, Michelle is deeply involved in her community. She has served on the Meridian Museum of Art Board and was the past president of both the Saint Patrick Catholic School Advisory Council and the Meridian First Ladies Civitan Club, where she received the Distinguished President Award. She enjoys mentoring and supporting others in their professional journeys.

She built her entire executive career from the ground up, starting as a bank teller and progressively earning advancement to the CFO position.
