Nathan Smith
Commander · DISC type DNathan is an award-winning Creative Director with over 15 years of experience leading complex design projects in the automotive, robotics, and architectural industries. A licensed architect (NCARB) with degrees from Columbia University and Cal Poly, he specializes in brand development, industrial design, and computational design, currently shaping the brand experience for the LA28 Olympic & Paralympic Games.
Inspired by his grandfather, who built an RV by hand, Nathan is a hands-on creator. He runs his own design studio, Parametriks, specializing in algorithmic and biomimetic design. This passion extends to personal projects, including designing and 3D printing his own innovative, laceless footwear.
He won a prestigious Red Dot Design Award for a 3D-printed shoe concept he developed through his personal design studio.
