Nicole McDonald is the Co-Founder of Indigenous Philanthropy Advisors, leveraging over two decades of experience in public policy and philanthropy to advance Indigenous-led solutions. A Ph. D. candidate (ABD) at the University of Saskatchewan, her career has spanned the federal government to leadership roles at the McConnell Foundation and MakeWay.
Nicole is a member of the Métis Nation–Saskatchewan, and her lifes work is dedicated to the well-being of Indigenous communities. Originally from Saskatchewan, she now resides in Quebec and is the mother of five grown children, who serve as a source of inspiration for her work.
She previously spent nearly a decade in federal public service, contributing to major national files like the Indian Residential School Resolution.
