Patti Thorpe is a recently retired teacher and musical director from the Langley School District in British Columbia. For years, she guided students at Langley Secondary School, notably directing large-scale musical theatre productions. Her professional life was dedicated to fostering young talent through education and the arts.
Music is a central theme in her personal life. A proud 30-year member of the Westcoast Harmony chorus, she is deeply involved with the Sweet Adelines barbershop harmony organization. She is skilled in music theory and enjoys coaching quartets and choruses, believing every step of learning is worth celebrating.
She directed the Langley Childrens Choir for a performance at a TEDxLangleyED event.
