Peter Birnbaum is a highly accomplished legal and business leader, serving simultaneously as the Executive Chairman of Advocus National Title and the Chief Justice of the Illinois Court of Claims. A graduate of Chicago-Kent College of Law, he has led Advocus since 1991, notably overseeing a major merger in 2022.
Outside of his dual professional roles, Peter is deeply committed to community service in Chicago. He is the president of the Jesse White Foundation and was instrumental in building its community center. He has also been a long-term supporter of organizations like Cara Collective and Big Brothers Big Sisters.
