Ray Montgomery

Ray Montgomery serves as the President and CEO of White County Medical Center, part of the Unity Health system where he has worked for over three decades. He was instrumental in building the Cancer Center of Excellence, creating a graduate medical education program, and leading the organization to become the first Mayo Clinic Care Network member in Arkansas.

Originally from Kansas, Ray views healthcare as a ministry and opportunity to serve. He and his wife, Rebecca, have been active in their local congregation, conducting home Bible studies and housing students. He is driven by his faith and a philosophy of servant leadership.

After starting college to pursue engineering, a college aptitude test suggested he would be better suited for a career in healthcare, changing his professional trajectory.
