Reza Afzali Arani

Reza is a Power Electronics Research Engineer at V-Research GmbH with nine years of experience. Holding two Masters degrees, his professional philosophy centers on deeply understanding the physics behind a circuit through analysis, simulation, and research before building, rather than just achieving functionality.

Outside of engineering, Reza is a passionate advocate for human rights in his home country of Iran, using his social media presence to raise awareness about the actions of the ruling regime. He also has a keen interest in the history of physics and appreciates educational content that explores its origins.

He co-created and named the "Dornbirn Rectifier, " a novel AC-to-DC converter that achieves an inherent unity power factor.
