Richard Suderman is the co-founder and Director of R&D at Nectagen, Inc. , a biotech company developing antibody mimetics known as nanoCLAMPs. His work focuses on creating novel therapeutics for infectious diseases. He holds a Ph. D. in Biochemistry from Kansas State University and previously worked as a Project Engineer for Koch Industries.
Outside of his primary research, Richard maintains strong ties to the academic community in Kansas. He is an alumnus of Kansas State University and has shown interest in local healthcare institutions, such as the University of Kansas Medical Centers nursing program.
His career began in industrial process engineering before he pivoted to biochemistry and co-founded a biotech firm.
