Rose Klukas is a Certified Economic Developer and the Director of Economic Development and Indigenous Relations for the City of Campbell River. She focuses on fostering collaborative solutions to diversify the local economy, particularly by supporting the regions rising technology and entrepreneurial ecosystems while strengthening vital resource industries. People describe her as an excellent communicator and skilled at developing strong teams.

Rose enjoys the dynamic nature of her work, where relationship-building is central to her philosophy. Her approach involves deep collaboration with city council, local businesses, industry, educational institutions, community groups, and local First Nations to enhance services and attract investment. She and her husband were thrilled to move to the Campbell River area.

She holds a verified certificate for "Reconciliation Through Indigenous Education", complementing her dual role focusing on both economic development and Indigenous relations.
